About MENC "Walk of FAME"

MENC's Walk of FAME provides a special way to support music education by purchasing an inscribed brick for the MENC "Walk of FAME" outside our headquarters building in Reston, VA. This is a wonderful opportunity to honor a mentor, memorialize a loved one, commemorate an occasion or event, or simply make public and permanent your own support for music education.

Brick donations are tax deductible and are applied to The Fund for the Advancement of Music Education (FAME). General donations are also welcome to FAME, an MENC-administered program that seeks to improve and expand music education by effecting changes in the general public's perception of its importance. The program's goals are to increase public awareness of the importance of music education and to promote public support for music education at the local, state, and federal level. FAME funding enables the music education community to reach out beyond the parameters of the teaching profession to the world in which Americans learn about and make music.
