Steve,
I use RSS "Really Simple Syndication" quite a bit and it really is the "wave" of future syndication for bloggers and news people alike. There is so much done with RSS feeds, that they are almost everywhere on the web and still the average person has no idea as to what they are.
I have a draft, I am working on, that will contain the exact information that what you want . I don't have it posted yet (next week or so), but you can check out some very good answers at my site and RSS FEED.
My site is http://www.mustech.net Look at the sidebar and you will see a feedpass link--- CHOOSE anyone of the three for my site and there will be information as to what a RSS is and so forth.
Also you can go here http://www.feedpass.com/mustech for information about RSS FEEDS, make sure you click on the RSS link for more information.
In addition, if you want to start an RSS with podcasting ability, I like to call them blogcasting on non-Macs :) . Make sure you check out http://feedburner.com
Regards,
Joe Pisano
