I'm sorry that you are having such a difficulty time finding your "teaching voice." Changing jobs so frequently is tough. Every time you start a new job, it is like starting over as you acclimate yourself to the school, teachers, children, administration, and politics. I am in my 17th year of teaching and have moved to different schools as a result of budget cuts and now as a result of my husband's career.

Remaining in your current job would become easier as each year passes. You can begin to build a repertoire with administration, teachers,a nd students. You can also refine, modify and integrate new ways of teaching to make things more fun and change from being quiet and shy. How are you in front of the kids? Do you open up? How do you visualize your ideal classroom.

IF you are set on moving on to another career, what are your thoughts for job opportunities? What you YOU want to do?
