Suncoast Music Education Research Symposium: Comprehensive Music Education in the Contemporary World will be held on the campus at the University of South Florida, Tampa, February 1-3, 2007. Paper submission deadline is August 1, 2006. The Symposium will feature three keynote addresses by Margaret Barrett, John Hylton, and Bennett Reimer, highlight papers accepted for presentation, and culminate with a closing panel which will develop recommendations for comprehensive musical understandings.
