Just want to clarify... I'm not looking for ways that music can be used to help children learn and remember various subjects in school, but rather research that has to do more with musical/language perception at a very young age (infants, toddlers, up through pre-K).
: Does anyone know of any good research linking musical development and language acquisition? I'm looking for something that shows how music is learned and perceived in a similar way that language is learned in young children, especially if there's any evidence about how they are linked in the brain and/or neural development. I know that I have heard something like this someplace and I can't seem to find a source. Thanks!
