Does anyone know of any good research linking musical development and language acquisition? I'm looking for something that shows how music is learned and perceived in a similar way that language is learned in young children, especially if there's any evidence about how they are linked in the brain and/or neural development. I know that I have heard something like this someplace and I can't seem to find a source. Thanks!
