“The Arts and Education: New Opportunities for Research”
Produced by the Arts Education Partnership and a task force chaired by the American Educational Research Association, this report proposes opportunities for future research on arts and education based on a survey of the significant body of recent research in the field. It recommends opportunities for research in five areas: cognition and expression, personal and social development, teaching and learning environments, community, democracy and civil society, and the status and condition of arts education.
