The first volume is a great piece of work, but is more suitable to junior high kids, at least of my acquaintance. These things tend to catch on, so the Fiddle Phil. or Encore books might work for your age level once you have a club with a history, if you set it up so that younger players and the grade level you recruit from hear your group and become acquainted with your initial repertoire. A solid text for you to read is Julie Lyonn Lieberman's "Alternative Styles:the New Curriculum", from Amadeus Press, 2004. Comes with a great CD,too. $24.95. Sue
