why 12 major and 12 minor scales?......instead of FIFTEEN!!!!
I use different finger patterns for B than I would for Cb......or F#/Gb or C#/Db.
For those that work their kids to the level of mastery around the circle of 4ths/5ths.....and probably have groups with great intonation because of the level of skill it takes to get to that point........I would highly suggest teaching these keys as separate items.
That way when a kid plays a musical in the pit in their high school.....and suddenly has music in Cb major, they will have the skills to do it.
