Here are a few. These pieces have been used successfully in local JH festivals/districts. Some are nicely-arranged folk /trad.tunes, which possibly cross over between your two thoughts. Amazing Grace-delBorgo/Belwin; Andante Festivo-Sibelius/Kalmus; Black is the Color of my True Love's Hair-Myers/Lake State; Fantasia on a 17th Century Tune-Stephan/Kjos; Hopak-Mussorgsky /Metcalf/Kendor; Sorcerer's Apprentice-Dukas /Balent/Fischer.
