I've heard of some people having the students call home when they misbehave in class. If you do this, how do you do it? Do you have the kids fill out a paper on what they did, like writing a script? Or do they just wing it? Do you talk to the parent afterwards?
Honestly, calling parents give me the cold shakes but my sixth graders are quickly approaching the point that this needs to happen.
