National Anthem Project Event Video Wrap-Up

On June 13, 2008, students, teachers, and community members gathered on Capitol Hill to sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" and raise awareness of the importance of music education. View the video featuring remarks by MENC President Barbara L. Geer, MENC Executive Director John J. Mahlmann, and the performance of the national anthem featuring the U.S. Marine Band. And spread the word about the importance of school music with a National Anthem Day event on September 12.
