Coming Attractions: June Teaching Music Lands in Your Mailbox Soon

 

 A performance by The African Children's Choir was an MENC Conference highlight.

 

Coming soon to a mailbox near you, June ’08 Teaching Music offers a recap of MENC’s lively conference in Milwaukee.
The magazine also looks ahead to MENC programs that continue over the summer. Among the stories:

  • The MENC National Executive Board votes to change from a biennial to an annual conference.
  •  MENC President Lynn M. Brinckmeyer makes a spectacular entrance in Milwaukee.
  •  Member Sherrie Welles describes her first MENC conference as well as her first major trip with a music group.
  • The 2007 Lowell Mason Fellows are feted
  • Drumming superstars Kalani and Ryan Camara create a rhythmic village of music educators turned drummers, dancers and singers.
