News from Music Education Week: Tuesday, June 28

On Tuesday June 28, the last day of Music Education Week 2011, more than 90 Association leaders headed to Capitol Hill to meet with their elected officials and put their advocacy briefings and policy overviews to practical use. Alabama, Arizona, Indiana, Kansas, Ohio, and Wisconsin state and division leaders were among them.

At the same time, the final three academies—Instrumental, Choral and General Music— wrapped up, with music teachers enthusiastic participants to the very last session.
