MENC Recognizes Corporate Philanthropy

In celebration of International Corporate Philanthropy Day (February 22, 2010), we acknowledge and thank the businesses that support MENC through membership, direct program support, and donations to the Fund for the Advancement of Music Education.

International Corporate Philanthropy Day is an initiative of the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy (CECP) co-founded by Paul Newman. The driving philosophy of CECP is to inspire business leaders to make a lasting commitment to community giving. Membership includes more than 175 CEOs and chairpersons, including many leaders from the world's largest companies.

Corporate philanthropy plays an important part in helping MENC accomplish its mission to encourage the study and making of music by all. Presently MENC has more than 200 corporate members, including the following that have been members for 30 or more years:
