Harry Connick Jr. Voices His Support for Music Education

On June 15, Harry Connick Jr. played to a sold-out crowd at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts in Vienna, VA. Before the show, Connick took some time to record several public service announcements for MENC's radio PSA campaign, Why Music?

During the recording session, Connick discussed why he thinks learning music is good for kids and his memories of his music teacher, Ellis Marsalis. His PSAs will be available on the MENC website in August.
