Core Standards Group Meets at NAfME Headquarters to Discuss 21st Century Skills
On August 30–31 the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) hosted members of the National Coalition for Core Arts Standards at NAfME headquarters in Reston, Virginia.
NAfME president Scott C. Shuler was among the organization leaders who discussed ways of revising the National Standards for Arts Education to incorporate 21st century skills.
Discussion topics included Next Generation Arts Standards and research reports from The College Board designed to support a revision of the National Standards for Arts Education.
