The Conn-Men, an all male a cappella group from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, performed at the White House on December 15 by request of UConn alumna Anita McBride, chief of staff for First Lady Laura Bush.

Not long after, the Conn-Men paid a visit to MENC headquarters at the National Center for Music Education, where they entertained MENC staffers with holiday songs that included "Jingle Bells" and a doo-wop version of "White Christmas."

MENC member Robert Miller is faculty advisor for the group, which was established at the university in 2001. He is a professor of music education, technology and recording at the university.
