Call For Research Papers
Two types of research sessions will be held during the Eastern Division Conference.
- a Poster Session that includes completed unpublished research as well as projects in process
- a Paper Reading Session for selected completed and in-progress projects.
Authors whose papers are accepted for the Paper Reading Session must also present at the Poster Session.
Authors must submit the following three items for review:
- a cover letter stating that the submission is for the Eastern Division Conference and indicating if the submission is to be considered for (a) the Poster Session only or (b) both the Poster and Paper Reading sessions;
- a separate, single cover page that includes author’s name, institutional affiliation, address, phone number, e-mail address; and
- one copy of a one page abstract that does not identify the author in any way.
All submissions must be e-mailed as a WORD attachment to Donna Brink Fox by midnight on December 1, 2008. E-mail identifiers will be removed, and the abstracts will be blind-reviewed by a committee comprising several Eastern Division State Research Chairs. Notification of acceptance will be e-mailed to authors by January 15, 2009.
Submissions not adhering to these guidelines will be automatically rejected.
