The band program is an award-winning program and is seeking a band director who has the ability to help our students and program achieve excellence and who has a history of leading high-quality, high-performing marching and concert bands. There is a strong parent-led Band Booster organization that provides support for the program.
Lander, Wyoming, is a lovely community located at the base of the majestic Wind River Range. The Arts are supported heavily in the community. The community is in the heart of country favored by the outdoor enthusiast.
The District pays a very competitive salary and benefit package. The District pays both the employees' and the District's share of the Wyoming Retirement System premiums, and there is no income tax in Wyoming; thus, one's take-home pay is substantially higher than in other states.
