By Barbara Payne McLain

Congratulations!

Your initial education is nearly complete, and you're finally ready to begin your career as a music teacher. As you plan for that well-deserved graduation ceremony and the accompanying celebrations, keep in mind that your undergraduate education is no guarantee you'll be hired to teach music--the field is competitive, and the candidates are many. This book will help increase the odds in your favor by providing a detailed plan of attack and specific tips on what to do, and what not to do during your job search.
